Climate & Sustainability
Built to last, not to be thrown away.
Most frontline tech gets replaced every year or two. Ours doesn't have to. We build hardware to be shared across shifts and handed back when it's done, not thrown out. That's not a sustainability campaign. It's just how we build.
How we build
Hardware built to last
Wearable bands, feedback terminals, and gateways, all built for years of shared use. They don’t end up in a drawer when someone changes roles. They just go to the next shift. When a device is done, our take-back program makes sure it’s recycled responsibly.
Efficient by design
Our devices run on low-power radio, not your WiFi. Less power drawn, and no new network gear to install.
Cloud efficiency
We host in the EU, with cloud providers that are investing in renewable energy. We scale our infrastructure to match real demand, not worst-case guesses.
Reducing waste on the floor
Our hardware and cloud footprint is one part of the picture. What Yump replaces is the other. Digital checklists mean fewer printed pages. Routing requests straight to the right person means fewer wasted trips across the floor. Less paper, fewer steps, less waste, without anyone having to try.
Run leaner, and you waste less. It's the same job either way.
Our commitments
Build hardware that lasts for years of shared use.
Use recycled plastic and rubber wherever we can, and only RoHS-compliant components.
Take back old hardware and make sure it’s recycled responsibly.
Choose cloud providers that invest in renewable energy.
Cut business travel with remote-first support and digital onboarding.
Start measuring our operational carbon footprint, and keep working to reduce it.
Be upfront about where we are and where we still need to improve.
