About the role

This is a senior role for someone who wants to stay close to the code while shaping how the team builds. It splits roughly 70% hands-on development and 30% planning, delivery, and process.

You will work alongside our Lead Architect and Backend Developer as a technical peer, and coordinate a small distributed team across backend, frontend, styling, and firmware. The problems span software and hardware, from cloud services to the firmware on devices people hold in their hands.

What you will do

  • Write high-quality code across a varied technical stack
  • Own and drive the development roadmap, planning, and task management
  • Break projects down into clear, well-scoped tasks
  • Track progress and communicate timelines and status to product leadership and stakeholders
  • Define and maintain development processes that suit a small, fast-moving team
  • Coordinate a distributed team across backend, frontend, styling, and firmware
  • Take part as a technical equal in architectural discussions and decisions

What you bring

  • Strong .NET/C# experience, with both established codebases and containerized microservices
  • Solid grasp of object-oriented design, architecture, and reusable patterns
  • Experience with Python is a plus
  • Comfort giving realistic estimates and transparent progress tracking
  • Clear written communication of requirements and architectural intent
  • Experience with AI-assisted development tools (Claude, Cursor, Copilot) and the judgment to critically review AI-generated code, architecture, and tests
  • Fluent English; Swedish is a merit, not a requirement
